Immigrant Welcome Center Events
English + Community Conversation
Following the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s 2 p.m. performance of English, Immigrant Welcome Center will join ESL teachers, recent immigrants, and language justice advocates to unpack the complicated relationships with language and what it means to speak and be heard on one’s own terms.
A ticket to the performance is required to attend the Community Conversation.

Naturalization Clinic
Citizenship Classes
Prepare for your journey to becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. The free six-week course will include five learning sessions, one review and a mock interview session with in-class worksheets and homework assignments.

Spring Pathway to Literacy Class
A recurring, 15-week free series of English Language Learning classes designed for adults with education less than a high school diploma. To enroll, refer a learner at the link below.
Classes are held in partnership with Indianapolis Public Library and Hawthorne Community Center.
