How it works
- Immigrant Welcome Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, accepts gifts of stocks, securities, or mutual funds for its general fund unless otherwise designated.
- Gifts are credited on the date of transfer and valued at the average of the high and low trading prices that day.
- Shares can be transferred electronically through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) between your broker and IWC’s broker.
